CD RELEASE
Piping Hot Doc has been in the studio with friends. Now the Wight Hot Pipes band has produced a CD with profits going to support the Earl Mountbatten Hospice called...
Wight Hot Pipes
'The Road Ahead'
It is not just the bagpipes but a contemporary mix of bagpipe music with violin, guitar, keyboard, vocals and even rock music......
The CD will buzz with the sounds of bagpipes as you have never heard them before.
From Amazing Grace and theme from Titanic, to the bagpipe version of Queen's rock piece 'We will rock you'. There will be favourites such as Highland Cathedral and the popular dance piece - the Gay Gordons - Hendrix style. The CD will culminate with The Last Post on bugle and Flowers of the Forest on the bagpipes with special contribution from Alan Titchmarsh's rendering of 'The Fallen'.
You don't have to enjoy the bagpipes to love this CD.
The CD is being produced by singer/songwriter Jamie Griffin of Flyte Studio in Brighstone on the Isle of Wight.
The CD is now available to buy from all Isle of Wight hospice shops or for further information contact Vicky on 07525782593 or email
