"Every Christmas I arrange a very special luncheon party for professionals and other friends on the Isle of Wight and Kieron has supported this occasion for many years past, offering the seasonal tradition of entertaining my guests with an array of music and without a doubt I consider him, along with many others here on the Island to be the best bagpiper that we have ever heard. His skills range from playing traditional Scottish and other music to rock and pop and even accompanied by a violinist and other backing arrangements. If you wish your occasion to really "sparkle" then I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Kieron Cooney to you".

"I have never heard of children spontaneously clapping a Mass at School but this happened after you played for us.
The children were amazed and enthralled when the nearly seven feet of you, resplendent in all the regalia topped by bearskin, appeared in the window beside them piping a haunting rendition of Amazing Grace. Their faces were a picture of ‘Awe and Wonder’. (Something the National Curriculum requires but is not always easy to deliver.)
When, later, you accompanied the girls Irish Dancing the children couldn’t help but join in by clapping. This underlined exactly what the idea of giving an offering is all about and priceless that it was unplanned and spontaneous.
It seemed to be appropriate that at the end of the Mass the children showed their pleasure with applause and I’m sure that your contribution played a great part in it. Thank you".
- Lin Rogers 2007

"Ada and I would like to thank you, Kieron, for playing  at our 80th Birthday party. A particular thank you for the Gay Gordons, everyone loved it. I never thought I’d get the chance to dance it again but your wonderful playing both encouraged and inspired me to go for it and I did it. Thank you".
- Ada and Ted Peake 2008
